When a decision needs to be taken in a typical firm, the board of directors or executives are responsible for making that decision. However, under a DAO, this process is democratized, and any member can make a proposal on which all other members can then vote. Each proposal has a voting deadline, and once the deadline has passed, a decision is made in favor of the voting outcome (YES or NO).
